R.W. Sidley, Inc. provides a single source alternative for the building industry by supplying a broad range of construction and transportation solutions. We are full service provider and manufacturer. We supply high quality products derived from our silica sand and bank gravel. With multiple precast concrete, ready mix concrete, and block manufacturing facilities in Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania, we service both commercial and residential projects.

Our advantage continues with our ability to deliver products to the jobsite on our own trucks. As a premier Mack Dealer in the Midwest, we offer both sales and service in our Thompson, Ohio location. J.P. Jenks Trucking and Warehousing, a wholly owned subsidiary of R.W. Sidley, operates a large contemporary warehouse and bulk product bagging facility which provides storage and distribution.

Multiple openings exist throughout Eastern Ohio.

Regional and Local Drivers
Drive flat trailers - up to 53', single & double drop trailers, stretch trailers - up to 75', pneumatic aircan tankers, semi-dumps, 48' flat covered wagon and dedicated vans as a member of our Transportation Division. Self-motivated, qualified divers should have a valid Class A CDL with HazMat trucking experience and clean driving record. Over dimensional experience is a must for our Regional Drivers.

Mixer Drivers
Mixer Drivers are our front line customer contact, delivering ready mix concrete to both residential and commercial jobs. Qualified Mixer Drivers must possess a Class A or Class B CDL and a clean driving record.

Slinger Truck Driver
Our 21-ton capacity slinger truck has a state-of-the-art conveyor system underneath the bed of the truck, and a second conveyor extending from the rear of the truck, this machine is able to precisely place aggregate, topsoil or sand. Slinger Truck Drivers must have Class B CDL and a clean driving record.

Diesel Truck Mechanics and Mechanic Apprentices
Our Mack/Volvo Dealership is looking for Diesel Tuck Mechanics of all experience levels. Diesel repair experience, welding experience and CDL license a plus.

Electrician / Maintenance Technician
This position is responsible for plant and building maintenance. Qualified candidates must be mechanically inclined with state or county electric license and have a working knowledge of single and three phase systems, NEC and local codes, machinery and electric motors, carpentry, plumbing and HVAC.

Structural Draftsperson – Precast Group, Thompson OH
This position interprets and coordinates architectural and structural drawings to produce building, layout and fabrication drawings. Candidate should possess good communication skills and a working knowledge of AutoCAD.

Senior Structural Draftsperson – Precast Group, Thompson OH
This position is responsible for reviewing the building, layout and fabrication drawings. Candidate must posses proven experience in interpreting architectural and structural drawings in the precast concrete industry.

Sales Coordinator / Entry-Level Inside Sales Representative
Our Construction and Supply Division has an opportunity for an entry-level Inside Sales Representative / Sales Coordinator. Qualified candidate will be a motivated A Player with strong interpersonal and computer skills and a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Responsibilities include managing a centralized commercial bidding process, determining project profitability, coordinating project tracking and partnering with ASM on increasing sales and profitability.
