Division Manager of A&M &
Director of IT

Brad Buescher

In his Corporate roles Brad manages R.W. Sidley’s corporate Information Technology (IT) department. Brad also has a divisional management role in R.W. Sidley’s portfolio of sand and stone products. In these roles, he acts as a continuous improvement change agent dedicated to creating teams that communicate well, are metric-driven, and reinforce positive culture that attracts top talent and promotes success across our organization. Brad regularly partners with our leadership team of C-Suite Executives and Division Managers on business, strategic, and cultural initiatives that bolster Sidley’s outstanding reputation as a family-owned employer.

Brad oversees divisional operations and quality control to ensure all operational functions produce the necessary quantity and quality of products to meet customer needs. He also partners with divisional sales and upper management to ensure financial milestones and budgets are achieved. His background in HR and IT provide him a unique focus on communication, culture, and using technology as a catalyst toward achieving outcomes.

To foster good health in the workplace and allow employees to thrive, Brad actively evaluates and manages company benefit plans, ensuring they provide maximum quality, value, and flexibility. He initiates projects ranging from new employee training programs to enrichment activities that motivate and empower individuals throughout the employee lifecycle.

Brad oversees Sidley’s company-wide IT infrastructure, leading teams that support the technology-related needs of the business, including electronic network, hardware, software, and telecommunication system requirements. He is also responsible for payroll vendor selection and management, establishing relationships that accurately maintain agreements and boost efficiency.

Brad holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Arts in Management & Organizations from Miami University. Beyond any wisdom he gained academically, Brad likes to follow some practical advice once received: “When you know a thing, say that you know it. When you do not know a thing, admit that you do not know it. That is knowledge.”

Brad welcomes wearing so many hats at Sidley because it gives him the opportunity to strategize in creative ways that make a difference for people while adding long-term value for the company. When he’s not experimenting with new ideas at work, Brad enjoys spending time with his wife trying out new restaurants (they are both self-proclaimed foodies), traveling, entertaining, and watching TV with their two cats. Brad also likes playing golf and basketball, cheering on Cleveland sports teams, and listening to music.
